Thank you so much for these tutorials!
I just got my alto sax yesterday and I’m following your guidance, and I keep getting more and more excited!
My only issue is that I slightly hinged the reed yesterday by accident so it’s really affecting the quality of the sound.
I ordered a pack off of Amazon though and I’ll be good to go in no time.
Thank you so much!

This was very useful. Im currently struggling to make all the notes sound out clearly.
The position of the Reed seems to make a huge difference.

I have a question for you? I just purchased a saxophone off of eBay brand new. It's an alto, and I'm listening and watching your videos and I'm learning. I'm i'm getting by pretty easily. But then again, I don't think my saxophone is working properly, because I can't get the notes off of my saxophone of what your sounds like to what mine sounds like. When I press the alto key, when I get down to the letter d for middle d. It eaters squeaks, or it fades out completely. And it doesn't seem to work on any of the lower keys at all? And I notice when I press the lower keys, the top part doesn't rise up at all. It doesn't seem to be functioning properly. My next alternative is to buy a different mouth piece, and synthetic reeds because I go through those bamboo reads, like it's nobody's business. They just hmm, I can change them out and they make totally different sounds. None of them are consistent until I can get some consistency. It's frustrating. Oh sure. I can beautiful notes on it, but it doesn't sound anything like yours. It almost sounds like a tenor sax,

It would be nice if the practice part had an accompaniment so I could practice along with the accompaniment, anyway, great video, thank you very much

When I hit The G note it goes an octave above and when I hit B they sound slightly out of pitch compared to you. I get that I'm doing my embouchure wrong for the B but the octave switch is beyond me.
