This is the full story: Flanders used to be the Dutch speaking part of West Europe where Catholic germanic Frankish warlords expanded their empire creating the Frankish Empire by subduing other germanic tribes
Then later Catholic Flanders was forcefully put with the protestant Netherlands
There was so much resistance and enormous, violent riots from the Catholic clergy, Flemish & Walloon elite AND peasants that they themselves from the protestant Netherlands and with the help of the British made their own country Belgium although Dutch-speaking Flanders hated Wallonie hardcore cuz they Wallonie was French-speaking, the Catholic-protestant problem was priority for both and that's why they worked together to themselves from the Netherlands and chose some German Catholic as their first king

As a Belgian, it was way more complex... And you didn't even mention the reasons for example.. the goverment was over-represented by the North ( the Netherlands ), the army came mainly from the South ( Belgium ) we wer also devide by religion the south was mainly catholic the North protestant, they wanted to standardize Dutch education while probably modern wallonia didn't agree on this cause they spoke French. So, Belgium got independence in 1830 and it's official recognized in 1831, the English didn't agree at first, but they realised that it would be usefull to have a bufferzone between the great powers.. What is kinda useless if you ask me cause if I'm not mistaken the kingdom of the Netherlands is created in 1815 for the same reason.. You also talked about the "10 daagse veldtocht" or "the 10 day campain" where the Netherlands invanted Belgium and took Basicly Flanders back, the Belgians asked support of the French and the French came to help the Belgians and took the victory .. but you made 1 mistake, in the video Luxembourg also invated Belgium, while in reality Luxembourg was on our side all along.. the Dutch managed to get some from Belgium back (North-Brabant and Dutch Limburg) but eventually they recognized Belgium as a indepented country. They also argued over luxembourg and Luxembourg got indepented in 1890 so.. Ngl as someone from Flanders I'm one of the few people who thinks that Flanders should join the Netherlands.. So, even this day I will hang out my Dutch flag. 🇳🇱
