That torture container was in The Netherlands by the way (just acros the border in Wouwse Plantage), that pile of uniforms were counterfit Dutch poice uniforms. It is true that Rotterdam got strikter and Antwerp now has "The Dutch Problem" with same crowd, just a port in a different country. However, here in the south of The Netherlands where those containers were found the big thing is synthetic drugs made in empty sheds at By the same cartels.

I live in Belgium but what’s told here is a bit over the top. It’s right that there are a few explosions in Antwerp but not in the rest of Flanders.

Couple of notes from a Belgian because in general, this video is a bit over the top. Sure, yes, grenades were thrown but no "civilian" casualties. The entire situation is actually just two rival cartels fighting it out, there's not much more happening outside of that. All focused in Antwerp, not in any other city. Additionally : first, you better not leave your doors unlocked, your entire house will be empty in 20 minutes. That's a weird thing to hear as no Belgian ever would leave their doors unlocked. We're not that kind of people. Second, yeah, Belgium is boring. Third, a minor detail but in the thumbnail, Leuven is pinned, which is not plagued by drugs at all. Antwerp is the place to be for this entire drug saga. Again, video is a big dramatization of what is actually happening.

instead of generalizing Belgium, you would better say that Antwerp and Rotterdam have become the drug capitals, in the rest of Belgium it is reasonably quiet in terms of drug deals and violence.

Your opening scene, The "Wouwse Plantage" with the torture chamber, is not in Belgium, but the Netherlands. Maybe quite close to the Belgian border, but it's not Belgium. Also, it was run by Dutchies (Piet Costas from Rotterdam), not Belgians.

Im from belgium and this is extremely overexaggerated, theres people in the drugs world putting grenades at eachothers doors every now and then. Not taking away from the fact that theres a lot of coke in belgium 😄 belgium is great, we enjoying life 🥳

As a Belgian, I have to say it's not as bad as you think. We are not Mexico or Colombia. The whole drug world here is mainly underground and not visible at all in the streets. Only in certain neighborhoods in Antwerp there is a lot of violence. There is definitely a LOT of money involved though. Overall, it's rather quiet and Antwerp is not at all a violent city. It's much better than London.

As a Belgian, yeh we are a bit boring but it's safe. Most of the things you mentioned are issues is the Netherlands but also involves 1 of our cities, antwerp. Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam are the 3 big harbors so obviously this will be an issue. But hyping it up as the huge issue is not helpful, it fuels useless anti drug laws that have never and probably will never help.

Decriminalize it, vice tax it, bring the black market into the free market, and focus on treatment and rehabilitation as opposed to imprisonment. The drug war has been an abject disaster on every level.
