I am really glad that someone has recognised what a tremendous blues track this is. So much dynamics, compositional style and guitar flavouring. My favourite Zep blues tune. As Joe has said himself, Page is the hardest to cover of all the British blues greats (and they are all greats) but Pagey has a dynamic that no one else does, it's weird but so flavoursome. Great job Joe and so glad you recognise this guitarist for the uniqueness Jimmy has.

I believe that if one artist covers a piece of a fellow artist, it is indeed, the highest form of praise.

Comparing Joe to Jimmy Page is apples to oranges. They are two completely different stories. Both have the essence of greatness. To say that Joe is no Jimmy Page is accurate, and Jimmy Page is no Joe Bonamassa. I am highly doubtful that either of these musicians are striving to be anything other than what they are, and the very best they can be at that.

I love Joe's music . Artist should not be compared, they each bring their own special touch .Its all relative to each listener and how it relates to you.

Joe's the purest guitarist I've ever heard everybody else has their little thing but Joe's just pure pure guitarist

I grew up with “LED Zeppelin was #1 , and everyone else was way way out in some other universe. It’s plain to see that Joe has taken what the greats have put down and took it to the next level. Nothing to argue about, that’s just the way it is. After Bonham died they could rarely get Jimmy Page to take the stage. Thank you Lord for Joe a great gift to us electric guitar people ! 200+ shows a year. Blues cruises, multiple bands, he shows up and gigs with friends on his days off, seriously. 50 albums by 46 years old, actually 47 now. Happy Birthday 🎉Joe👍🙏🔥🎶🎉⚡️🎸

How can someone dislike that performance ?

To me, this is the most soulful vocal performance Robert Plant ever sang. (and that's saying a lot) No one can top it, but Doug Henthorn does a hell of a job in my opinion. Not many would consider taking on this baby!

As I read through the comments nobody is giving him a chance.
It is page, nobody can imitate his style but joes version is awesome in his way too.

I simply cannot LIKE this enough.  Listening on a continuous loop, at the risk of going into a dark funk.

I heard that Joe Bonamassa said in an interview that Jimmy Page plays a lot of “slur” notes that make his sound uniquely his own, and that he wouldn’t even attempt to replicate it. It was a great compliment to Jimmy’s playing, by acknowledging what critics of him had always called “Sloppy”. Joe Bonamassa being a great player himself understood Page’s brilliance. It was one of my favorite guitarists paying a huge compliment to my all time favorite. Joe Bonamassa is a class act.

Such an overlooked blues masterpiece. I'm a Jimmy fan, but that said Joe is magnificent and he puts his stamp on it, and does the most important thing with this particular song; captures that incredible sad but beautiful mood that Jimmy originally created.

Amazing cover.  As much of a Bonamassa fan I am and how much I love hearing his Zepp covers this is Page's song.  It will always be
