in overwatch he was a DPS and became a tank in overwatch 2

Doomfist is a passed on title with the gauntlet you saw in the widow and reaper vs tracer and winston animation

he is from nigeria his name is Akande Ogundimu and he is 47 years old

he is from a family famous for creating prostethic limb, he was a wrestler but it stoped when he lost his right arm in the omnic war, it got remplaced with one of his familt prostethic limb.

he missed the thrill of the fight from his life as a wrestler and then met Akinjide Adeyemi the Doomfist of his era and the chief of Talon.

He was trained by his era's Doomfist and became his closest confidant.

He then realized what would be best for his and Talon future, so he killed his Mentor took his gauntlet as well as the titlle of Doomfist and became the new chief of Talon, he changed the way Talon would operate, before they only did things in the shadow, now Talon became a paramilitary organization as well.

8 years before now he was captured as you saw in the video. but he did not escape on purpose, he was waiting for all the action he took before hand to take effect as he his a well known strategist.

now as the time is right he escaped took back his gauntlet and lead Talon once again we still don't know what his plan is but he has one to make humanity stonger thanks to conflict.

Doomfist and Efi (and therefore Orisa) are all from Numbani, a fictional west African country in the Overwatch universe.

It's also one of the maps in game. The payload on it used to have the gauntlet.

Then it got stolen (you could see the payload having been broken into) and then Doomfist attacked, resulting in that airport being destroyed along with the OR-15s as you could see in Orisa's origin story where Efi stands in the destroyed airport.

So the map got several changes throughout the game in anticipation of the releases of Orisa and Doomfist.

I'm not sure if they will be part of the reactions at any point but seeing some of the earlier archive PVE missions (no longer available) add a bit more lore and hero interactions that are interesting 💚

Regarding the accent and the same "area" that Doomfist and Orisa's creator are from, that "area" is a little continent called Africa that you might've heard of.
