Oh my gosh this came up at the exact time I needed it most, I’m currently trying to balance 3 different animation projects all due the 22nd and I’m worried I won’t make the deadline because I’m such a perfectionist.

Some great advice here. I'm an HoD of an animation department, so I have to manage deadlines for myself and my team, and it's really difficult when some of them are just not great at managing their own time. Like you mention, internal deadlines are SUPER important. It's also better not to rush it all in the last stretch so that you can give adequate attention to each element.

I used to absolutely hate schedules and believed in the free spirit approach untill after my first year of hnc I received a c due to poor time management and was told my work itself was worth the A, so the year after to completely my HND I began working to a monthly and weekly schedule which made everything so much easier, and I got that A.
I reccomend everyone at least tries to maintain a healthy schedule

There was this one time when im animating, usually my parents would make a time limit for How long i use my pen but usually they will take the pen at 10 PM and give it bacc at 6 or 7 AM. and everytime when its like close to 10 AM maybe like uhhh....8 or 9 I will start animate my Lipsyncs *REAL FAST* and then after they took my pen I'll try to finish the Lipsyncs by making them as a symbol and then i usually finished the animation at 12 or 1AM lmao especially when im making a *MOVIE* series I havent uploaded the 1st Episode and the 2nd Episode will be an Opened Collab for all animators and theres like 2 more collabs from people that i havent done so...im procastinating a lot right now lmao . . .
