I archived all the firmware for your Adaptec SCSI card for Macintosh so you don't have to!

I spent THREE HOURS the other night trying to flash the firmware on my Adaptec SCSI card... so frustrating! After that, I decided to collect all the firmware needed to reflash the most common Adaptec / PowerDomain SCSI cards in one archive so that no one else had to go through the same ordeal.

Enjoy!

Thanks Ron! Just the other day, I found a box of old SCSI cards buried in some God-forsaken corner of my office, and one of them happened to be an Adaptec 2940UW. Thanks for tracking down the Macintosh firmware for it! It's probably the least cool PowerMac G4 upgrade, but it works and I got it for free

This is GREAT Ron! I have one (forget the model) in my Quicksilver & it is flakey at times. I read somewhere if you run it on 10.3.9 or lower it will run better. Can't wait to see this compilation-I'm sure my best solution is hidden in there! Thanks, Ron!

Firstly, thank you, I have multiple Adaptec Cards and didn't have a full set of firmware and utilities for them, this is gold dust.

The part that frustrates the living CRAP out of me and has me kicking myself is Microchip didn't take this down until about August-September and I'd downloaded stuff *this year* for 2 of the cards I have from their storage site and then *poof* it totally vanished. I really wish I'd dumped everything I could, PC and Mac when I had the chance :\

I Also have 7 or 8 68 pin ultras SCSI drives pulled from server use I think they are either 7200 or higher rpm. 18-20 gig drives. I don’t recall the exact amount but it’s between those two numbers.

I have an 2930 and I think a 2940. I wonder how much they would be worth in $$ or trade . Would a trade for a 1tb SSD ( there about 50$ at Microcenter at the moment. I don’t have any pci scsi Macs so I rather put them into the community
