Who do you think has the upper hand in the Van Halen saga: David Lee Roth with his fiery rebuttals or Wolfgang Van Halen with his bold accusations?

So where’s the actual interview with David Lee Roth? This wasn’t even worth listening to.

It is NOT about a NEW release.

It's about keeping their LAST studio album available on streaming services.

David Lee Roth is a rock god. That’s #1. Recognize. Take your medicine. Wolfie sounds a little like he’s being too big for his britches and not willing to earn his stripes like everyone does.

A "new" album that was released in 2012. This is ignorant. I think it was taken off of Spotify and Roth is blocking it from going back on Spotify.

It was not just the subtitles. This dude actually enunciated, purposefully, the words "Finally, David Lee Roth broke the silent on the issue." C'mon, man. How can anyone expect me to believe that a native English speaker could be that clueless, that.. unaware of the vernacular?

2:58 I love that picture of roth with those two broads from the early eighties. They both have a deer-in-the headlights look as if that picture was taken 10 seconds after they all exited Roth's dressing room.

I chose my path, you chose the way of the hero. And they found you amusing for a while, the people of this city. But the one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying. In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they will hate you.

Wolfgang VH is just the rich, entitled, obnoxious son of a legendary musician. That's it

Everything is Vague....I will always be on Roth's side and Wolfy would be nowhere, if he wasn't Eddie's kid....I believe that

Wolf is an amazing singer, songwriter, bass player, and drummer, while possessing Eddie's chops on guitar! Roth is a used up hack who hasn't written a good song forty years!

the record sucks, thats why its not out, wolfy knows even if it sucks it would go platinum at a minimum. since he profits from his dads legacy, its more money for wolfy. wolfy is not his dad but he thinks he can share in the power his dad had. he wont last long and he knows it. so its all about money...

Dave knows what he's doing. If he doesn't want the album to come out then you can bet there's a damn good reason for it. It probably isn't good enough and he feels it would water down their legacy.

I think Dave is a little KOOKY!! Always have seen him as little I'm going to side with him on this one anyway. I'm actually AMAZED that he lasted as long as he did with the "re-union tour". One thing Dave, '74-85, and then Sam for his time in Van Halen had in common was a more balanced band. Mike Anthony is the missing ingredient here. Without getting into how Mike's Vocals were a missing piece that made the reunion tour tough to listen to it actually goes deeper that. Eddie and Alex by all accounts are/were fiercely loyal to family.... ONLY!! Anyone else treated like an outsider in their band and family business. Dave and then Sam may have been the obvious leaders of the band back when it was really popular and productive but nobody doubts that the brothers stuck together with no real loyalty to who-ever else was in this band that didn't have the last name "Van Halen". When Sam left, Mike followed. Mike and Sam are clearly too close to split up these days. So when Eddie and Alex want to do it again after coming to realize this band only has two possible was the only option in world where Ed wanted to play with his son. How Dave willingly stepped into this band again with 3 Van Halen Family members and himself as the only outsider I can only explain in terms of the Millions of dollars everyone would be paid for the tour. I'm certain there were plenty of times when Dave just wanted to rip heads off over the BS he likely had to deal with. It's never been revealed but I'd like to know what Wolf's "take" was on the money split for that last tour. Typically you'd expect the 3 original players who made this band to get a 3 way split and then Wolf would be treated as the "hired player" on bass at a small change pay check. Yet, I wonder if he didn't get a full 1/4 on nepotism alone.

I'm not on anyone's side, but I do have some observations: Dave has his side of the story, and he's well within his rights to tell it. Wolf also takes advantage of negative attention, because nothing creates more buzz than negative attention on socials, and he knows how to work social media to his advantage quite well.
