Just documenting my thoughts as I go don't mind me:
1) The Big Catch - oh yeah this is gonna go so hard
2) Earthblade - we know next to nothing about this game but these devs have more earned trust than any other team on this list.
3) Pinky's Paradigm - never heard of this before this video, it looks fun and bouncy, gonna hold out on this one tho
4) Rollin' Rascal - this game looks awesome, I'm really thankful for the multiplayer, because it's IMO the only substantial thing setting it apart from TBC, which has about 20% more sauce.
5) Neva - honestly gonna skip this one. I really didn't enjoy Gris, to me it didn't justify being a video game rather than an animated film. This criticism goes for other similar games like INSIDE and Planet of Lana.
6) Windswept - mechanically solid, perfectly competent, but stands out from the crowd very little
7) Motorslice - looks incredibly rough around the edges, but conceptually intriguing in a way that Windswept isn't. Even this early in development you can see the devs tapping into some secret sauce.
8) TELoG - what the fuck this looks amazing
9) Possessors - ditto
10) i dunno what this is

Another platformer that had a great demo was 500 caliber contractz, highly recommend checking it out. Extremely unique vibe that captures a very specific 2000s internet aesthetic.

Thanks for digging out The Eternal Life of Goldman, it looks nothing less than incredible! In return, you definitely should check out the precision platformer Symphonia. A students project with the same name from 2020, finally turning into a full game.

7/10 games I'm already following 2 I ignored, I might reconsider this position after your input. And 1 I've never heard about, that last one. But there have been weeks since I wanted to ask you: didn't you publish a video (review, overview, whatever format) about Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn? At first I thought you've taken it out because of some mistake relating to the date of release versus the date of your publishing (I'm blanking at the correct term for this situation). But since then you could've republished it, which leads me to believe you deleted it based on the first commenter's opinions and like/dislike ratio. Which would be sad, I'd love to hear your thoughts about that game, I sympathize with you when it comes to being new to the Soulslike genre.
