Garage conversion to home gym

Here’s a little homework project we’d like to share with you.

In all honesty, this has been years in the making. But, as with all professional renovators, our home comes last. We finally completed our garage conversion a few months ago but have only just had time to run a camera around.

We’ve lived in our Llantwit Major home for almost 18 years and the garage has always doubled up as junk storage space and home gym. Over the years, the gym was being used less and less and the junk was piling up. The garage had become too grim, damp and cluttered to inspire any kind of fitness regime.

The solution was this comprehensive conversion. Complete with new access door from the hallway and vaulted ceiling.

We’ve added a bank of @pronorm_official cabinets along the back wall. The storage space this furniture provides is amazing, taking care of the junk we couldn’t afford to lose.

We’ve also added a PlayStation, dart board and folding pool table to the room. Making it a family room that we can escape to for some well earned R&R.

I have to say that we love this new space and are happy to help our clients create something similar in the future.
