MS-specific research 🔬 shows that ANY amount of movement is BETTER than massive movement!
When it comes to neuroplasticity 🧠, a little movement can go a loooong way towards reaching goals of improving your walking quality & endurance + your strength and balance!
Bust MOST of the time, when a client of mine with MS feels like they're barely moving with a specific exercise... they think it's not a good fit for them and move on to something else 🤦♀️.
Which is the WORST thing you can do!
Keep practicing specific muscle strengthening exercises 💪… even when the amount of movement you see is small (almost non-existent) movement!
Continuing to practice in this way will allow your brain to find & strengthen neural pathways that will result in better strength AND movement 🚶♀️!
→Will it be tough (& frustrating)? 😩 No doubt.
→Worth it? 💃 Absolutely!
Effort is greater than Movement. Remember that!
