The curler should actually pull the hair around the barrel so you don’t have to wrap it yourself! Hold an inch of hair and the wand vertically and it should attract to the wand by itself!

Put some oil drops on your hair before you blowdry it. I have thick curly hair and thats my trick to a smooth blowout. I used to put drops afterwards but honestly doing it this way changed my life!!

I’ve had the airwrap since September and I have learned some tips and tricks to figure out how I like it the best. I actually like to use it like a normal curling wand. So I attach the opposite side curling want and turn it upside down (just like how you use a hot curling iron) and I find the curl is way more Bouncy.

I am obsessed with the Dyson styler!!! I have thin, straight hair. however, my hair cannot hold a curl with a curling iron, so using the curl wand just works. I start curling with it damp and it works wonders. if you let the hair wrap itself around the barrel, it does a tighter curl. if you do it the way you did it, it will give you a beachier wave. I just love how lightweight it is and once you get the hang of it, it's a lot quicker than holding a regular hairdryer in one hand and a brush in another.

I have very thick and wavy hair and got one for Christmas. I have only used my hair dryer once since then. I absolutely love my airwrap!! The curling barrels are my favorite. Try them with you hair damp. I get so many complements. And the curls hold up very well!!

Like you said it is relative. I think its worth it for myself because this is how I've been styling my hair for years. I use a Conair one ( you can find it at Walmart in Canada) its basically the round brush attachment. So, I am used to this method of styling. It would be a plus for me to have the curling barrels and even the smoothing brushes for a quick blow dry. For the longest time I've been waiting for a better quality version of the Conair one I use and now it exists!!
