I make Swiss macarons, I put them in the oven straight away, they come out amazing. The feet turn out big too!

I believe the biggest difference between macarons that are baked without waiting time is the amount of sugar. Usually, the recipes where they are put in the oven immediately without letting them dry contain considerably more sugar than the more traditional recipes.
