I lived in my RV for the last 3 years in East idaho, and our forestriver 395 has held up beautifully with just a heated hose and 2 fome skirting just make sure you have a good dehumidifier

I did most of that one winter in w virginia in rv. I put hay bales in contractor trash bags (to keep critters out) as skirting. Not pretty but REALLY helped retain heat. I also attached foam board insulation underneath. 🎉

I feel like our furnace does fine. It only gets to 12* here in nc. 2 gallons of propane a day at that temp.

Been using a deisel heater works like magic on those extra cold days have to run it on its lowest setting or it'll be 100 degrees

Should use the furnace. Fuel is much cheaper than electricity.

Honestly if you were to even buy aluminum foil and lay it on the ground held in olace with rocks on the corner and then applied shipping blankets around the exterior with a cheap tarp over the blankets acting as a skirt and then heated the deadspace with your electric heater you would be more protected from cold and possible electeical fire. Please used a heavy duty extension cord for those heaters. I worked in the RV industry for many years and this system will work way better. Keep that cold out from under your house.

At a campsite is easy, you have power. How do you do it while Boondocking?

I use self warming pads on the couch with a blanket over them. I also use electric blankets. They ise hardly any electric to use. I sewed a self warming pad to the bottom of the throw rug in the kitchen and bathroom. They heat when someone stands or lays on them. I use them in the dogs beds also.

I lived in a travel trailer at fifty below, my biggest complaint was the blankets on the bed tend to freeze to the wall . 👍🇨🇦

Only 2 space heaters. Plus one underneath on always. Fire waiting to happen

Since space heaters use so much electricity I wonder if it actually saves you guys money over using propane.
Probably really depends on whats cheaper near you.
I also have seen people add insulation siding to the ground to keep it warmer.
