“Everyone knows that bad things happen when you try to pass 72.”

That was the hardest line I’ve ever heard from one of your videos. You’re a genius

"35 years ago, the Dolphins were on their way to being immortalized in the record books. Now, these Dolphins are fighting for the right to be forgotten" - damn that's powerful

I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan because of my grandfather. He gave me a book that he bought at the Orange Bowl gift shop in 1971, simply entitled "The Miami Dolphins" by Morris T. McLemore. This book written before 1972 somehow had a prophetic understanding of something extremely special coming to the NFL and for the Dolphins. The book ends with the Dolphins losing the 1971 Super Bowl. The final line is: "These gentle giants of the pits, they hear bells other men never know."

My dad is a lifelong Dolphins fan. He was born in 72’, and has seen all the ups and downs. I showed him this video when it first came up. I think it meant more than I could ever know. Thanks Emp for this heartwarming tale.

For a second there I thought he wasn't acknowledging the Patriots near perfect season because of scandals. 😂

That “NO GOOD!” From Jim Mandich was such a raw display of positive emotion that I couldn’t help but crack a smile for the guy

My uncle, Bob Kuechenberg, was an offensive lineman on that undefeated 1972 Dolphins roster. Very cool to see you mention him in this video! His brother Rudy was also a linebacker for the Chicago Bears. Great video Emp, also enjoyed the Jet Neptune interview

This probably the only dude on YouTube who could get me to watch an hour long video about a sport I care almost nothing about. Plus he manages to keep it interesting. Really great work!

Watching the Patriots losing that game live was one of the greatest moments a Floridian could’ve felt in ‘07

I'm European, but I just watched an hour-long documentary about American football in one sitting and I'll tell you what, I was HOOKED.

That's the power of Emp. He's able to tell a gripping story about anything and everything. He's hidden gem in today's YouTube.

Gary anderson missing that field goal in the nfc championship game is the perfect encapsulation of what it means to be a vikings fan

"Some day, not too long from now, they'll all be reunited for the final time. and on that day, I hope they remember to bring champagne." is such an incredibly beautiful line of my god

Emp is one of the best storytellers when it comes to bringing things around full circle. Just as you forget, he brings it back and reminds you “We May Never Lose Again”
