In my blog post, I show you 5 MORE ways to secure a thread for hand embroidery. It's funny, but I didn't realize I knew this many until I wrote it down. lol

This was the first tutorial I watched where I fully UNDERSTOOD the loop method. A million thanks!

My mom taught me to “spit on the ends” for sewing by hand ❤ your content is so easy to follow. Thank you !!

Thank you, I watched about five other videos on loop start and this is the first one I understood because you actually showed how to thread the needle!

I was making something when I forgot how to start when starting a new letter (if that makes sense 😅) Thank you so much!!

So I've never done cross-stitch before. I'm someone that crochets but really wanted to try it. I have a pattern I bought (a kit) and I read I should start in the middle. But the middle doesn't have the same color next to each other at all. Its one stitch in one color. The next is another color and so on. So is loop the best then? I'm so lost lol. I saw one lady that hops around and skips onto the next square that had that color but I don't know about all that. Would love some advice because I'm so intimated to even start!

This is great. With the loop method how does the thread stay threaded? Is it just hanging on in the needle loop?

This is great! But I'm using 3 strands for a current project, is it still possible to start using the loop method? 🤔

For the loop method…how did you string it in the needle?! Like from thread to needle?! How did you get it started. I’m a beginner and finally got the hang of it, but the 11ct and 14ct is still confusing to me. Like how do I know how many string to use.

I'm still very confused 😅 how do you anchor it to the needle? How does it not just come off the needle?

I'm so confused, how are you getting a loop in the back of the loop start? I'm trying to make the poop emoji using the Dimensions Learn A Craft kit, and even their instructions sheet in unclear on how to start. I need help 😫

You have to share that coffee pattern with me!

I’m still not understanding the loop method. Doing it leaves me with a very short working thread and a long tail of extra thread.

I've been doing cross stitch for about 4 months now and I've been using the knot method. I keep my projects very neat and organized but I want to start using the loop method. My only hang-up is that by doing the loop method I have two loose strands that fall out of my needle at every pull. I'm really frustrated I've tried to knot them but then I can't bury the thread at the end.

I feel so dumb I can't figure out how to make the loop 😅

She's telling you wrong. You never knot your thread in cross stitch.
