Excellent tutorial. Clear and brilliant camera work. You do the right balance of talking and demo. Some people chat too much and go off topic. You’re perfect. Thank you.

Excellent tutorial! Clear and concise, my favourite kind ❤ Not too long, no waffling, no confusing explanations and a great video demonstration. Good job, you.

Even though you did this video 5 years ago, I found it on a FB post In "Sock Knitting Addicts". So much has happened in the world in 5 years- hope all is well! I've only made two pairs of socks but both one at a time and each sock is a bit different from the other. I appreciate your in depth directions, close ups and soothing voice. Can't wait to try this!

I've just watched a few minutes and amazed the way the first sock last stitches are cast on. I had no idea of that. I think Im going to like this tutorial as you don't say any more than you need to and your pictures are very clear. Hopefully I will be able to do this. Thank you.

That was the clearest two sock start up I have seen! I will tackle this again with my next pair. I’ve tried to learn the two at a time cast on before. I can manage to do the cast on, but then getting the actual joining to work in the round, and then keeping track of where I am in the round gets a bit sketchy. I will master this technique! No more lonely one sock WIPs!

So much easier! Thank you so much. I was almost in tears thinking I couldn’t get this. Your guidance is so clear. Bless you!🙏🏽

One idea I’ve just had is to use two different colours as you have and then knit again another pair in different colours so it’s easier to learn and you end up with two pairs of matching colours in the end!
Definitely good for Xmas pressy knits. When you’ve got a few to do in the same size. Or if you want to treat yourself to a couple of pairs.

This is absolutely wicked-cool. I’ve been knitting sleeves at the same time since I was a kid, but never socks; never knew it could be done! I wish I’d learned this when I was 28 instead of at 68! 😊 Thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. ❤

Thank you so much for this video. In 10 minutes, you taught me how to master the basic magic loop technique. So far, I have knitted a pair of vanilla socks with variegated yarn. I just started a new pair last night. I absolutely love this technique, as I have suffered from second sock syndrome in the past. Lol! Initially, I used Addi cable needles. They twisted and tangled so much, that I ripped it loose 4 times. When I used my ChiaGoo cable needles, I went from start to finish. I've viewed multiple YouTube videos on 2AAT magic loop technique, and yours in my opinion, is the best. No using multiple cable needles, no transferring stitches to another needle, and I love that you join in the round by simply "knitting". Great video! Thank you so much for sharing. 😊❤️

Wow, this is absolutely excellent. I have tried to follow so many different instructions and ended up in a total muddle (own fault). These instructions are so clear, simple and precise and will be my 'go to' instructions from now on !!. Thank you so much. Now to watch all your other videos as well

I agree with @nicolas-- your tutorial is excellent! I absolutely did not get this (2aat) until I watched your tutorial. I plan to take advantage of the tutorial showing how to: Magic loop (1aat) because I will know I indeed finally have this skill under my belt. My most favorite knitting are socks!!!!

I’ve tried to learn this in the past, but gave up. Lol. I think I can finally live the dream now of completing a pair of socks at a time. Best video ever for magic loop direction/explanation. Thx so
