Motion problems with integrals: displacement vs. distance | AP Calculus AB | Khan Academy

Показать описание

The definite integral of a velocity function gives us the displacement. To find the actual distance traveled, we need to use the speed function, which is the absolute value of the velocity.

AP Calculus AB on Khan Academy: Bill Scott uses Khan Academy to teach AP Calculus at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, and heÕs part of the teaching team that helped develop Khan AcademyÕs AP lessons. Phillips Academy was one of the first schools to teach AP nearly 60 years ago.

This is how some speed runners are able to break videogames - faulty game mechanics of particles and velocity logic.

Hey!
Please make a Integrals playlist.
Add all integration videos (definite, indefinite integrals, etc.) to that playlist.
Something like Multivariable Calculus playlist.
Easier to Access and Learn.
Thanks!
