👉 Learn how to solve particle motion problems. Particle motion problems are usually modeled using functions. Now, when the function modeling the position of the particle is given with respect to the time, we find the speed function of the particle by differentiating the function representing the position. We find the acceleration function of the particle by taking the second derivative of the position function by differentiating the speed function.

The instantaneous speed and acceleration can be found for a particular point in the domain, while the average speed and acceleration can be found over an interval in the domain.

U’ve helped me SO much throughout ur videos! I had my test today but I didn’t finish it but I’m pretty sure this question was somewhat similar to the last question on my test because of the equation layout, except it deals with running. I just didn’t understand how u got the 2nd equation under question b. 🧐🥲🤣😭
