Why do some people receive healing while others do not receive healing? How is this fair? Perhaps this is the problem with the question of healing: it has been framed according to a sense of fairness, not within the larger theological scope of healing and restoration in Scripture.

Also, despite some pretty good theories, there is a lot we don’t understand about how God operates. Even still, Scripture encourages us to seek healing and to pray for others to receive it. How do we make sense of any of this? Let me know in the comments!

God is sovereign. God does what he does. We may never know the reason in this life. He has not delivered me from porn addiction. Others may testify that they have been immediately delivered
From bondage and that's great. Some people struggle with faith and mental illness. Faith pleases God yes. However faith does not always remove the sinful thorn in your side.

So Jesus takes the path of the Cross and suffering and we Christians shouldn't.
In Catholicism suffering is redemptive.
