It’s all well and good when you get your bait for free being sponsored the average angler can’t afford to spend £20-£30 per session including the free feed and hook bait

The goo does work most of the time HOWEVER I will say that other glugs works just as effectively. I like to use the activator that comes with the mainline baits like cell and essential cell popups and wafters and those soaked in their activators are just as effective as these goo's. Do the same thing soak for a few days, dry out, soak again, etc do this for a couple/few weeks and you have a highly glugged high attractant bait soaked to the core that will most of the time get hit faster and more often than a non glugged bait. (Tip: for those that have buoyancy issues after soaking, just make sure to let dry out before using) Difference is paying just $8 for a 300ml bottle of Activator compared to $18 for a 115ml bottle of goo. The advantage and potentially disadvantage of goo is the many different flavors. Could be bad if one stops working then having to try different ones to figure out what one is working at a particular water. Just testing and having to have a large variety is especially the reason using goo's can be VERY expensive.

I have used that stuff. £12 a bottle is a joke! I now use nash dips for method and pellet feeders. £6.99 a bottle. Does the job just as good!

Fished France last year with standard mainline boilies caught stacks of fish biggest 48lb went there for a week this year fished goo for 2 days and not a sniff. Not writing it off completely but I'm not a fan . Korda pushing for another buck for Alis next trip to France lol x

The goo works for me it's all to do with presation and hook size and were you are fishing. Pineapple supreme I use a lot on a chod set up with a pink mainline pop up 15ml soket in the pineapple works gr8

Sorry lads but this test proved nothing. i use the goo's, but you basically fed the swim, got them going, then added goo and claim its down to that. Do it in two different areas and try again.

Everyone will have different opinions on it that's life but it does work well when used right me n me mate mixed up some ground bait once and added some goo n it got the carp feeding after a few minutes so the best thing is experiment with it
