Upgrading my wi-fi from Apple Airport to Ubiquiti Unifi (AP-AC-Pro)

Make sure to watch this before buying a regular router like Asus, Apple, netgear, or LInksys.
In this video I replace one out of the two airport extremes that I have in my house and replace it with an Ubiquiti networks Unifi AP-AC-Pro. AP = access point.
I show what I did when I hooked it up and talk a little bit about the specs and a little bit about the performance I get by replace or upgrading one of my airports to a Unifi Access point.

Hi, I've watched a couple of your videos now and really informative thank you. Just would like to ask, if you were going to set up a network that required a Guest Network (for a building rented to guests approx 8metres away) what would your setup be? The USG in the main house, plus a UAP-AC-Lite, then hard wiring to another UAP-AC-Lite in the outbuilding? Would this then allow both a Guest Network, and if they were to unplug the AP from the ethernet socket and try and plug directly in with their laptop, how would this network be separated from my personal network? Any more advice helpful and keep the videos coming. Thank you.

I want to add a AP-AC-Pro to my existing airport extreme basestation. Is that possible. I don't want to buy all the other stuff to save cash.

Dude, we should sync up about my network changes. I went and swapped everything out for Google WiFi, so we're both running mesh wifi now.

The problem!
No tech support. beware anyone thinking about using ubiquiti products. The only support you will ever get is through other installers. As they have no support. You'll try chat only to wait and wait and wait. Then when you get someone they may have no actually field time. So something you think will take a minute or two ...well lets just say you will be saying are you kidding me! Beware. It can be great stuff, BUTT! you may want to look to a company that allows for at least some profit so you can afford the warranty issue should it arise. Zero Profit have to rely soley on labor rate. That will pay for the truck, insurance and a little salary....as the Joe Walsh album is titled But SeriouslyFolks!
