I've been playing a lot of these chords for a long time by accident because I thought they sounded beautiful, that F#m11 for example, the found that just by experimenting with shapes. That said it can be somewhat hard to compose with these chords because for whatever reason no one agrees on what to call them and barely anyone uses them.
