Perhaps a green golf course doesn’t belong in the middle of the effing desert.

I’ve played for at least 30 years. Some of my best memories in life are on a golf course with family and friends. Golfers can still enjoy the game even if courses only watered the greens. If they did that it would save at least 90 to 95% of the water that is used. Something has to be done and I hate to say it but golf courses should be one of the first casualties to this crisis. I don’t understand why restrictions are not being enforced sooner. The powers that be probably still haven’t figured out how they can take advantage of the situation and solve the problem at the same time.

build water tanks on golf courses fill them with treated water from sewage plants and use that to water the golf course also ban them from watering their course during daylight to lower waste from evaporation

Compared with the coming water wars, the Civil War will seem like a neighborhood quarrel.

Who cares about the golf courses!

Sorry, it's a recreational sport... We're in a mega drought. No cares about the money you bring in. If you can't handle it, guess it's rime to close your course down.

Time to buck up and cut your water waste! Humans are more important than jobs and money!

Umm, “golf courses, ” we don’t care if you’re suffering $$ losses. We really don’t. Perhaps you should choose a more water/people friendly way of doing business…or just leave. We will be fine without you.
