How about using win R, then typing pw <account name>
May you find the solution for that please?

Also, could you please tell me why do we need the batch file? Looks like i can run other py files using the commander without creating any batch files for them

Can I do this if I use pycharm? I noticed that I have different python.exe, seems like everytime I create a python project in Pycharm an instance of python.exe is created, if that makes sense, so should I save the batch file in the python.exe where the project is or should I save in the one located in local disk? I hope you understand what I'm saying, I'm new to programming and there is a lot terminology I don't know.

Thank you! Your video was very helpful. I am on a Mac, from the command line I ran "python pw.py email" and it copied the password to my clipboard.

I have tried this, however when I try to run py pw.py email, nothing happens nor any error message appears .

I am banging my head against the wall, since I couldn't even get past the Automate the Boring Stuff pyperclip section.

The reason to create batch file is not specified. Running program with command prompt will work even when you do not create batch file.
Please show how to run that program from run command.

No idea what i am doing wrong. I am receiving the message: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pyperclip'...even though I installed the pyperclip and it works in Spyder

You can run the file without creating a batch file, so what's the difference?

Stuart, I have a question for you. How can I find the path to pw.py within C:\ ?
