Running a Batch File from Task Scheduler Without User being logged In

At some point you will probably need to automate some of your work, and using Windows Task Scheduler if perfect for this. If you do this on a server you will have to make sure that your server will wake up to run the task, and that your credentials is added.

It’s not working with free filesync.if I checked “execute independently “ with high privilege, it’s not working at all .Notiing is happening even if I press “Run”. But it’s working when I click on “only run if the user is logged in” . But I need to login . Any help

Thank you. Have a doubt, if the python script is having connection to the sharepoint and no internet and selected as without user being logged in, then is there any that of working and scheduling the job?locally and not through any azure or any cloud services?

Thats very bad solution for important scripts. example backup. When server with task sheduler force to change pass for user and we forgot to update creditentials, scrip will not run. When script is a backup scrip you dont have a backup!!!. Better way is to change user on SYSTEM and be independent on login/pass creditentials

Hi Peter, can this be used though to run an UI Automation script bat file in a Virtual Machine when you are not remotely logged into the machine? I am having difficulty to get this to run for my UI Automation script which is built using, Selenium Webdriver, C# and Coded UI.
