What are your thoughts on the possibility of Bloober Team making a Silent Hill game?

I think there's a real chance Bloober could hit it big with Silent Hill, but they'll need substantial funding to give it justice. A second-party deal seems like the best chance to make that happen, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see. I loved Layers of Fear and appreciated The Medium, but making a (good) Silent Hill game is a significant step-up for them. Here's hoping they've got the resources and know-how to make it happen!

Even with the appeal of a second-party deal I *do* think Konami would want an all-platforms roll-out--they'd be eager for a strong return on their investment, and leaving platforms on the table seems an unlikely move for them.

If blooper can make a Silent Hill with better always like the ideas in the games but if they can improve the gameplay make it updated (which I think they definitely will) it could be cool.

If its exclusive, timed or whatever I hope its good.

I think blooper has potential and whether you were a fan of the Medium or Not....I think they are getting better and better with their games! The potential is there and really this is their type of game to make. I wish them the best!
Oh and I even kind of liked the movies back in the day.

I think Bloober could do a good job providing they handle the combat well (if there is any) and improve their facial animation. I also hope they stick with fixed camera positions. On the subject of exclusivity, a multiplatform series like Silent Hill should NOT have any exclusivity tied to any system.

Miles, I always enjoy going off the cliff and chasing you down the rabbit hole. There might be two Silent Hill projects, which has me excited to get two different perspectives of this iconic franchise. Now on the Sony side, who would make this game? Could it be newly acquired Housemarque or Bluepoint? For a long time, studio Japan and the team behind Siren were rumored.

Silent Hill is my absolute favorite franchise. The success of Silent Hill is because of Team Silent (1 through 3). I am excited to see another Silent Hill, butI doubt Bloober can pull it off unless they can dive into the lore and symbolism of the games. I can only hope it does well.

Bloober Team certainly have a chance to make a great Silent Hill game if Konami give them the budget. Also what if the prominent developer Konami is talking to is Shinji Mikami and not Kojima? I know everything points at Kojima, but would either party still want to work together after such a messy break-up? And if you wanted a Horror game made would you go to Kojima first or Mikami? And Mikami just so happens to work for Xbox now...so Xbox Exclusive Silent Hill.

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents into this tin hat theory.

Bloober team had some of the worst tackling of mental health issues ever seen in the horror genre with the medium it was next level awful so far from team silents quality of writing this feels like a bad joke that they are working on Silent hill
