It's helpful to remember, or point out, you can use other strings than 'EOF' (End Of File).

Hello can you give video explanation for standar input.For example command
tar cfp - . | ( cd <path>; tar xf - ). I need to understand how is this work.

Uhm, type file name and tab for the extension to be put in for you...

Ctrl+D tells the (to the) `cat` command that everything is done? Are you sure? I think Ctrl+D is "told" to something else in the system.

Why did my Comment get removed?! All I typed was:

If you press TAB on your keyboard after the file name it will automatically put the file extension. Why did my comment get revoked?
