How to make hard candy - 3 flavors

I make 3 flavors in this recipe but of course you can make it easier and just use one flavor. You can half the batch as well. LorAnn Oils makes a variety of flavors so you can play around. The only flavor I don't recommend is cherry as it tastes like cough drops to me.

Recipe:
4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups corn syrup
1 1/2 cups water
1 - 2 drams flavoring oil
Food coloring

This is really cool, i bet you could push the bottom of a ice tray or some other cool design and just pour it in. Nice this I didn't think about, I am making candy tomorrow (lemon drops) first time and this is perfect idea for a mold! Thanks!!!! :)

Did you like the anise flavor? Cinnamon and watermelon are my favorite.
