How braces are put on at our offices.

Yes, this is what we do every day! I love my career, and I'm glad we get to show it off. Thank you, Daisy, for being such a great patient and allowing us to show the world how braces are put on.

The top questions we get asked are:

1. Do Braces Hurt? As you can see here, putting on braces is a breeze. It hurts for a few days after your teeth are shifting, but we do not use needles, don't drill, etc., so the process is straightforward.

2. Can I choose my colors? Yes, you can, and here Daisy chose the color that suited her the best, but we have tons of choices.

3. Can I start braces the same day as my consult? Yes, we often have patients leave the same day with braces on!

This is so interesting. As a patient, you don't see all that went into putting the brackets on. Are there guidelines to putting on the brackets ( centered or place low for the bottom row ?) or is it eyeballing it ? thx

I’m an orthodontist nurse in the U.K. and I tell you something, us nurses don’t do all the work that Steph is doing only the consultants or registrars get to put brackets on. So I would like to know do all nurses / assistants in your practice or the USA allow their nurses to put brackets on? Thanks
