Amway Hero Awards – Colonel George Goodwin – Patriotism | Amway

Freedom always has a price, but it’s always worth that price. See how George’s Patriotism makes him a true hero. Upon returning home for a stay in Papa New Guinea, George attending college with an Army scholarship with the dream of becoming a doctor. After being accepted into the military’s medical school, George eventually went on to become the Chief of Internal Medicine at the Army base he was stationed at in Afghanistan, while running the emergency room every night.
After his deployment, George continued his medical service by serving 3 years as Deputy Commander at Fort Eustis Health Center, while making sure solders receive all of their disability evaluation benefits within 8 months.
Throughout this, George has never forgotten about the many sacrifices made in the name of freedom in the United States. Thank you for your Patriotism, George. You are a true American Hero.

I've know George for almost 10 years now--I knew and could see his servant leader heart in everything he does. Was amazed to see this from so many years ago!
