Amway honors Lynn Burnett with the Amway Hero Award for Patriotism. Lynn comes from a long line of military family members, and joined the military himself in 1982 as an Elite Army Ranger. The job of an Army Ranger is to do the job nobody else can do, while training harder and longer than anybody else.
Today, Lynn is regarded by modern Army Rangers as a pioneer because of his willingness and desire to serve his country. Lynn served 13 distinguished years, eventually rising to the rank of Captain before moving on to do other things. Among those other things has been to volunteer with the USO to continue serving his country and the troops, while also making sure his children and others know the sacrifices made by members of the military and that freedom isn’t free.
Thank you for your service and love of America, Lynn. It is our privilege to present you with the Amway Hero Award for Patriotism.
Every year the Amway community comes together to celebrate the heroic efforts of outstanding IBOs whose selfless acts make a positive impact in the lives of others and help build stronger communities.
• DETERMINATION – Dedication to self-improvement despite difficult circumstances.
• GENEROSITY – Extraordinary volunteerism and philanthropy to help others in need.
• LEADERSHIP – Selfless mentorship and inspiration to help others succeed.
• PATRIOTISM – Compassionate service to the community or sense of duty to country

Served with Lynn in High School (afjrotc), West Point & in Korea 2ID. One of the smartest men I grew up with. He always tells me I was smarter than he was but that's a humble lie from Lynn. Love you man! JB

I graduated Army OCS with Lynn Burnett in June of 1988, where we were commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the Army. He won the leadership award as the most outstanding leader of our class, which consisted of about 150 or more officer candidates. He was a squared away soldier.
