Great timing! I got home from work yesterday and wanted a pick-me-up so I sprayed on some Tom Ford Sole di Positano...it has been months since I smelled it and fell in love all over again. So fresh and summery and made me feel renewed.

The day you posted this I was wearing Acqua Allegoria Teazzurra having no clue you would be talking about fresh frags in winter. It lasted so beautifully, it made me so cheerful, happy, clean. I needed a day free of amber, oud, honey, musk, myrrh, etc

It’s so funny that you posted this because just today I’ve been wearing Kyse Coco alla Vaniglia. Sometimes when it’s so cold and dark and gray outside I need a little extra boost in the form of a tropical fragrance. It really helps lift my mood. Totally not seasonally appropriate but who cares!

Very true. It’s been so warm for January and it gets really hot in the office where I work. I just haven’t wanted to wear my winter perfumes and have been gravitating towards fresher scents. I’m usually over the heavier scents by the time it gets to January anyway, there are no rules.

I've just impulse bought Dior's Rouge Trafalgar, have been wearing it for the last few days and it's giving me a real lift during this dull winter weather. Love the red lip!!

I don't really go for the fresh fragrances but yea if we just wore them in the summer and heat there would be no market here in the UK for our 3 days of sun 🙄 but yea you totally make a point I like occasionally on a cold day a fresher fruity brighter one just to make me smile

Great video! I totally agree that freshies like Neroli Portofino are fantastic in cold weather. They last longer and smell "Happy" :)

When I am in the shower 🚿 I do a quick inventory in my head what I'm feeling like wearing, & if it happens to be something light in cold weather, I will still wear it NO Problemo... DKNY WOMEN did it for me today, please don't all gasp at the same time😀😂 it's my happy uplifting scent!!

I think you’re right, great subject to discuss. Freshies do work well in the winter and give me a welcome break from some heavier scents sometimes. I think the other way round some heavier fragrances would be too much in the high heat. We don’t get that often here though 😂 I am with you though, wear what makes you happy 😃😃

I love the lip color on you. I’d love to see it combined with some medium brown toned eyeshadow. Do you have any suggestions for fresh aquatics? I loved Acqua di Gioia, but it started reacting bad with my skin chemistry.

Rules are made to be broken, right? ;) Neroli Portofino is one I've always liked in TF collection but not yet bought. Sometimes you have to create your own sunshine with scent. Great video.

thought provoking. i am pretty much a rebel. i just use whatever i like wheever i like. haha. my inner call to smell a certain way drowns all other noises out haha

I wear what I like but in the blazing hot Australian summer, some of my stronger perfumes such as Bengal Rouge are simply not suitable and can give me a headache but I do wear citrusy fresh perfumes in winter ✌️
