*Side note, you also might want to spray lubricant again after the soap and water to help keep your pruners from rusting! Or maybe even skip the water part to eliminate the possibility of them rusting. Either way, may sure they are good and dry before putting them away. 😀

A little tip, before disassembling take a quick shot with your cell phone of each side of your clippers and just refer back to it when reassembling. I’m a visual person too. Let me see where it goes so I don’t have to read where it goes. 🌻🌻🌻

Yes, the “pruner” video would definitely be useful!

This is great and you're literally the only person who can clean a greasy tool while wearing white! Lol i would love a dedicated Felco video (please see if your mom can show the lefty's to us. I didn't know they made pruners for us lefty's so thanks for sharing that info in your link!)! My boyfriend laughed and compared this video to him watching people clean and disassemble guns. Now we have a gun and pruner cleaning "Guns n Rose's date" this week.. thanks?!? Lol

I have one pair of Felco trimmers but was confused when ordering them as there are SO many styles, , I think we’d all love to have you do a video on the different ones, their uses & which are your favorites!!

Laura, cleaning and sharpening my Felco 2's is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you. We are planting so much because of you...retirement is much better than we thought it could be.

I clicked on the felco link and was immediately overwhelmed. 26 pruners were on offer. I don't know enough to know which pruner to invest in or what task they are best for. A breakdown of them would REALLY be helpful. Xoxo

I vote for a Felco video! Discovered you during lockdown, and after 40 years of gardening you have inspired me to make happy changes. 1. I bought a pair of Felcos. 2. I don't need to keep plants I don't love ( raised by Depression era parents..) 3. I moved things and introduced better plants. 4. I have learned so much about pruning, watering and amending the soil. 5. I need a barn full of Espoma products ! I have a grandson the age of Benjamin, and a new grandbaby on the way, I love all your videos. I live on the east coast of Canada ( Nova Scotia) and our growing climates are very different, but good gardening practises are universal. PS thanks for introducing me to Brunnera, I have a lot of shade and always love a new to me shade plant.

Love this! It made me wish for a basic gardener series from you. You know, tools, maintenance, a few product ideas...You are the only reason our acre has a thriving flower. 💗

I just came here to say THANK YOU for creating a Spanish channel. I just saw it. I don't speak Spanish, but I appreciate the intention and the effort. You teach us to love both plants and people!

I remember watching you 5 or 6 years ago and I just started in the plant hobby by that time, looking back at it you helped me so much now I have my own flower shop!💕

Pruner video? Yes do it!! I hesitate to buy because I don’t want to spend the money and not get what I really need. Thanks Laura!

Girl, I swear you can read our minds. I literally brought in all of my pruners from my potting shed yesterday in the intention of cleaning them today 👍

I've never "cleaned" my Felco pruners like this, and I've had them for 25 years. You can only imagine what they look like. Thanks for the terrifically instructive video.

Yes please do a video ...I've spent a fortune on pruners that either break, hurt my hands... and are useless at cutting and never seem to last from one year to the next despite me trying my best to look after them. I didnt know their were 2 different types of pruners and I really want to invest in some Felcos now, but cant decide between the 2, s or the 6's... I dont have massive hands but I do have arthritis in my hands, which is why a lot of pruners really hurt lol

My brother-in-law was a professional mechanic and he always cleaned his tools EVERY day when he was finished with them.... he said you can't expect a tool to work properly if it isn't taken care of!! I'd love to see more cleaning videos of at least the most common tools.

Omg I had to laugh... I was watching your last video and you were planing Zinnias in the mid day heat wearing your trademark all black and I thought you must just like wearing black... then today cleaning oil and grease you’re wearing a lovely light white shirt 😂...

I would love to see a video on how to select correct size pruners, clippers, etc. Your sense of humor is super and your clarity and comprehensive presentation is number one. Thank you so very much!

A good way to keep parts in order is to put a piece of duct tape upside down with edges stuck on table. Then just lay out screws, etc in order & they stay put! Thanks for showing how to clean & sharpen this tool. I have some old ones I will try this with. 🙂

I vote YES for a pruners video comparing different types, uses and hand sizes (Aaron needs to be the hand model for large/man hands!). Thanks for the information & inspiration as always! 💚🌸

Everyone: covered in black grease after cleaning tools.
Laura: wears white, emerges spotless.

Great, helpful video!
