After a lot of digging around, I've found that the bulb is not a 2825. It's a 2721, 2722, or 2723. The 2825 is a wedge bulb whereas the bulb in question is a wedge subminiature bulb. The difference in size is 1/8 inch width and 1/4 inch in length. A 2825 is the same size as a 198 which is what is used in the dash lights.

I have to jiggle my shifter around to get my reverse lights to stay on, it's an auto trans. Any idea how to tighten it up or clean up the contacts?

Thanks for this but my issue is that the shift indicator does not sit properly when I shift (I have automatic). For example, I recently did an SYE, got rid of my drop transfer spaces and raised the skid back up. Since I did that, when I shift, the indicator dial does not sit over P, D, R, N but in between. How do I make the adjustment so that when I shift, the dial rests properly over each position? Please help. Thanks.

A short piece of small ID rubber hose slipped over the bulb is safer for removing the bulb.

I got the 2825 bulb, but is bigger..
They old one is missing and there is only the housing to receive the bulb but does not fit, and it looks exactly like the one in your video...

Question about the transmission is it a straight 3 speed or is it a lockup automatic. Looking for a YJ as the TJ are out of my price range and I’m interested more in an automatic.

The clip the needle goes into on the column broke on my YJ. ☹️ I can’t find a replacement. Any suggestions?
