Where do all those weird items go when you sell them on the grand exchange? Well probably to one of these oldschool runescape hoarders.

Hoarding osrs items is something that has been going on for a long time. Its a small community of collecters who attempt to collect huge quantities of low value or junk items, although sometimes these collections can get quite valuable.

Today I am going to be looking at some of these collections. The amount of time it takes to acquire this many items is immense

Millions of bark was farmed in bulk during the leadup to the Warding poll, people thought it would become valuable and so every bark tree in Morytania was taken for weeks... He probably started the collection right after the poll failed and had most of it right away

fun fact, Serum 207 is one of the methods for ironmen to get some extra free herblore xp, as turning a villager back to normal takes 1 Dose and and each villager returned to normal has a common chance to give iirc anywhere up to 5 Grimy Tarromin back, sometimes if rngesus is being kind you can get back more Tarromin than you are using to cure villagers.

My thing is collecting Half Moon Spectacles. Sitting on over 3, 000 pairs with a buying limit of 1 per hour. Won't stop unless it makes me a multi-billionaire or I have enough for the entire Osrs population.

Would love to see you go further into this subject and pick your favourite collector and break down exactly how long it takes to build the collection and how your going to go about your own collection? Maybe one thing you get from GE one tradable and one untradable all on a fresh account? loved the vid thanks.

Wow i just watched the older collection video yesterday, and now today there is a new video about Runescape collectors.

A lot of the collectors buy from players, so they can bypass the buy limit of the GE. Probably still took a long time, but not as long as buying at GE buy limit.

These kinds of collectors are a perfect match for botters. These are all very unique and unusual items that the typical player either doesn’t do or doesn’t keep. It’s perfect for botting because it’s an uncommon money making method. And most of these collectors will try to buy privately or directly from players/botters, so the items are not tracked correctly with the GE daily volume

I personally collect rabbit snares. I have over one million, close to two million. Considering how few trade on an average day, that's likely a considerable amount of how many exist in the game.

I would have to assume bots play a big role in probably more than one way for one to achieve these stacks. Assuming the player achieving them is not using a bot to help as well.
