I’d almost say this album is Allie’s most philosophical piece of work yet. I’ve found so many existential themes in it, ruminating on the purpose of artists, of beauty, identity… it not only slaps but is so incredibly thoughtful and raw. As a longtime X I’m just sooo blown away, bravo Allie!!

The instincts you have… the variance in where your eyes are fixed have such an impact. The change from looking “dazed” and “daydreamy” while looking out to looking straight into the camera creates such a brutal focus. Idk how to explain it, but I love these choices
