hello friends, today in tech-talk-1-o-1-sd we will see why "Shut Down" Doesn't Actually Shut Down Your Computer and how to resolve it. Everyone knows how to shutdown your computer. Just go to menu and click on the shut down right. But you are wrong shut down do not shut down your computer completely. So we might think we are completely shutting down our computer but most of us don't properly shut down our computers. because in windows 11, fast startup is enabled by default with shut down. now when The Fast Startup feature allows your computer to start up faster after a shutdown. When you shut down your computer, Fast Startup will put your computer into a hibernation state instead of a full shutdown. let me show you what I am talking about. open task manager by pressing c-t-r-l key along with a-l-t key and the delete key. now go to the Performance tab and click on CPU it will show you CPU uptime on the bottom. as you can see mine says more than 2 days and 20 hours. What is your cpu uptime mention it in the comment. so to fix this open control panel and on power options go to choose what the power button do. and then change settings that are currently unavailable. now turn off fast startup and save changes. now after this whenever you shut down your PC it will properly shutdown.
