I have not heard this song in years, I was cutting the grass and i had to stop because I got real emotional, I dont know why, it brought back a memory of something, cant explain. Thankyou Leon, rest in peace.

We were all kids together, facing life with the music of the ages. It was what was needed after years of war and restrictions. We busted out like the flowers in springtime and danced forward. ✌️

Leon Russell...what a musician. Lady Blue is one of my all-time favorites...the night I "met" Leon, I went as Lady Blue. Dressed in blue from head to toe, with a long blue cape and blue crystals hanging down from my hair. When I first saw Leon walking my way, he sorta looked like God--long white hair, wearing an all-white suit. I will never forget it. Rest in peace dear Leon. You were a master, a true original in music. I will always love you and the song Lady Blue. God bless.

Black male here. I heard this song in Tampa at about 16yo. This IS my favorite song of all time. My HS band director wrote sheet music for this song. We played at halftime. The crowd went NUTS!

Always makes this old white viet vet cry. I am 73 got the news today from the doc. I had hoped to get to Ukraine don't know it will happen now. At a soccer game today I hugged my family, a big hug and even hugged my x wife. Every thing got better for me when I got sober Any way this Leon Russell song always affects me.

I love the xylophone intro "it's unique and unmistakable" even after all these years, "that's Leon." Not to be confused with any other. A beautiful song, Leon pours his heart and soul into feelings and words with undeniable depth and meaning, not only is this heard within the song, it can be felt, within the soul of the listener, over and over again. That's a timeless classic.
