Показать описание
Want to ask for a bra? Not sure how? We got you..
It does not matter if you are an early or late bloomer. A bra is made to protect your boobs so don't be scared to ask. It's no different than asking for new shoes because your feet outgrew your other ones. Don't be afraid to ask for one if you need it!
Our advice is to be honest - we strongly believe that honesty is the best policy. We have crafted a few messages below to help you start a conversation about you getting your first bra... or upgrading to better fitted ones.
You are uncomfortable or embarrassed.
Growing breasts are uncomfortable so it’s absolutely okay to acknowledge it as a reason to get a bra. You might physically be uncomfortable or emotionally if you feel like people are staring and looking.
“I think I am starting to get boobs but it makes me very uncomfortable. It’s worse when I start thinking that other people noticing them. Can I start wearing a bra?”
You are in pain.
Puberty could be painful! (Don't worry - we know it’s pain you can handle!) Sometimes having a bra will help shield you from that pain so you need to start the conversation for the sake of your body.
“My boobs are hurting. They feel sore when I move. I think it’s a sign I am getting boobs and I am hoping a bra will make it less painful. Can I get a bra? “
You just want to get used to it.
Let’s face it - screaming and begging for something will lessen the chances of you actually getting it. So, let’s approach this differently. Puberty is a process and you might want a head start to prepare your mind and body for it.
“I want to get used to wearing a bra. I am worried it will be uncomfortable once my boobs starts to grow and I want to feel confident with my body.”
