Cannot argue with that and although I do have a small gas burner, for the money, I think I will get one of these as well, as a back up.  Thanks for putting this up and I look forward to seeing how your cooking on it goes.  Cheers Alan

i had a stove and stand like that . we used it on our days out when we was walking through the woods. not bad for 10 pounds mate thanks for sharing atb mo and gill

Ordered this last night and a 650ml titanium pot. First alcohol stove. Didnt get it as cheap as you did sadly but looks a bargain. Thanks for the advice and vid.

Thanks for the video - Laxida seem to rip off anyones designs - the exception might be their superb titanium kettle - This is clearly a Trangia rip off as you almost said. They do a Titanium one which is a rip off of a famous American burner too. The big thing about meths burners is that some burn clean and others less so... but you never lit it!
