Yes you might buy a lot of junks, but you test it, and try it out, and describe your experience of it. It is very informative for the rest of us, and thank you very much for that ..! You are a completely ordinary guy, like the rest of us, and your experiences are not only a passing on experience for the rest of us, but also a great inspiration for the rest of us, and thank you so much for that to .. !!!

I have two of these, one from Lixada which is made of Titanium and a Stainless Steel version made by another company and I’ve pretty much cooked everything on it from fried eggs Sausages to boiling steamed white rice and it did pretty much everything I cooked on it! Truly ONE OF THE VERY BEST & CHEAPEST Stand/Windscreens you will ever buy and this is never affected by the wind itself!

Great little gizmo. No extra wind shield needed!👍🏻

When folks ask why I have so many stoves I ask why they have so many clothes for the same reasons as they can't wear them all at once.

Always a good video. You're enjoying yourself and that's all that matters.

I like this design - light, flat, and inexpensive.

I thought you were going to put it on your head as a crown for a moment :) I keep an old jam jar lid with my trangia, it makes it easier to snuff out the flame.

Hell Yeah, buying stoves and testing them against each other is a primal joy in life. My wife says I got too many stoves too. Thanks for a fun video.

Was looking at this windshield just this morning and thought I'd see if anyone on YouTube had done a review. Thank you Scottish Wanderer - your review helped me to decide this little bit of kit would add something positive to my camping experiences. Have ordered one, cheers mate! :)

thats the beauty of Ebay and Amazon you can try out little things you see when browsing, then a few days later the postman is dropping parcels through your letter box for 5 minutes, , ignore the bad comments mate and upload whatever you like, its your channel.

Just bought the newer rivet-less version of this as part of a lighter alcohol stove set up - I have been using my MSR windburner for ages but fancied something lighter, smaller, cheaper to run and more controllable for days when the weather is better and time is not of the essence. Thank you

I saw a guy put 2 nails across the set in the groove and won't move. He was able to put his Stanly pot on it then, or any other small cup like a TOAKS 350ml cup. I thought it was a pretty cool idea.

I got this but haven’t tried it in the field yet, too cold. Looks like is better than the windshield that comes with the mini Trangia system which I use sometimes, and the windshield is similar to the other one you showed. In your opinion, does the Lixada offers more wind protection? Looks like it does. By the way, I buy lots of things too, I’m retired and been camping for about 30 years, now that I don’t work I camp much more and have always enjoyed it.

Thanks for these vids and pointing out the products that are sort of under the radar.

Can you post a link to this product in the description? Can’t seem to find it on the Lixada site or on Amazon.

Also, I’m curious as to what part of Scotland you’re from.

Thanks!
