Hats off to both of you. Taiji guy is able to explain things in simple physics instead of just saying that there is a “magical force” and the wrestling champ has an open enough mind to listen and see if he can learn something useful.

interesting ! :) my teacher also teaches us the "sink the flesh and let the bones stand" thing,
but this is the first time I've heard such a straightforward explanation of how it affects the grounding and transmission of force through the body. thank you !

It's great to hear how some of this practice feels inside, not from Adam himself but from one of his students. Thank you all, you keep inspiring me to commit to everyday practice. Cheers!

Great explanation! No malice or ego just clarity for the practice partner.

Thank you for not obfuscating this with jargon people don't understand

Super interesting... How important is timing, such as between neutralizing and the release that moves your opponent? Does that come naturally?

Great vid Ramzi! Appreciate your sharing! Question: I noticed Sifu Mizner in vids basically saying if you lift weights you can't get to the higher levels in Tajiquan. I lift weights to stay healthy with my body weight and strengthen the bones. I notice you have significant muscle and still do external arts too. So I guess I'm asking for confirmation that I still could lift weights and with the discover Taichi program online and coaching from instructors such as yourself I can still actually achieve real internal skills in Taichi while still hitting the gym. Your insights?

Would be nice to see anyone do this under any kind of real pressure 🤔
Is it meant to work from an actual fighting point of view, or is it just a Qigong thing?

Is the why there are times when I feel like the full weight of gravity is pushing down on me? Particularly in my arms and hands? Just FYI, I'm not trained in any martial arts. I just feel very heavy if I am concentrating in a certain way...

We also forget the spinning top, spin to the ground, and spin to the top, so to speak.
