Thank you for the video. But WHY the FIRST PLASTIC cup is not IR transparent like the next two?
A NICE addition would be to add a description of the materials used. Usually there are identifiers underneath.

How does that actually work, is it what goes into the glass like particles that break it up or something? This actually boggles my mind how clear transparent glass can stop a heat signature

You can't see through the glass, but if you held on to the glass first, could you see your hand print?

I understand that glass almost blocks infrared but then I wonder how the camera lens which is made of glass is able to catch that 🤔

infrared light cannot pass through glass. it's too dense.
