Jacare is the definition of tap or snap. He deserves a pension for what he's put into martial arts.

Why was this listed as a submission loss? Ronaldo Souza did not tap, therefore it should have been a TKO. One should be applied for all fighters. Brian Ortega got a TKO loss from Yair Rodriguez on his resume. Jamahal Hill got a TKO loss on his resume from Paul Craig which was the same situation like here. Back in the old school Mario Sperry got a TKO loss from Igor Zinoviev even though he tapped out. Royce Gracie did only get a no contest from his fight with Hidehiko Yoshida. Ronaldo Souza should not

The thing is, standing up to dump someone off your back is actually a pretty decent defense with average or bigger guys. The fact that Andre managed to maintain a great position is astounding imo. It's much harder than it looks to not get launched.

I believe these submissions should only be used at full force for self-defense.
