He’s so majestic to just watch, from a distance. That’s a big boy.

The noise he was making, as far as I know, basically means "I come in peace." The gorilla was saying that he was perfectly fine with what they were doing

I just looked it up. The smile was also a good thing. Contrary to popular belief, gorillas smile as a sign of submission and to comfort others. Sometimes they do it when having fun too.

So yeah, this gorilla was definitely happy about their presence. Very chill gorilla, awesome encounter.

Showing teeth among primates is a sign of weakness. I don't think the Gorilla was all that unhappy. He looked more confused.
