This is one of those VERY rare issues that VOTERS on both sides agree on overwhelmingly.
Unfortunately, the politicians on both sides are in agreement as well, .... they don't care what their voters want.

Thank Nancy Pelosi and her husband for starting this conversation. Their Microsoft trade was blatant insider trading.

Well, I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered and I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

2:23 yes, they can’t hold roles of power within the market and have ties to those who are in the know. Corruption in all levels of markets is amplified when a connection to congress. Nick talks of tax free investments and that insider trading has been against the law for years. The money made by those in office or people at their holiday dinners with boiler room talk…illegal. The fines are minuscule compared to their gains.

The U.S. Congress whose number one job is to not only be the representatives of their respected individual and collective constituents, not only to legislate debate, and to compromise (Use the best ideas that work) and agree to the best solution which implements the voice request of folks who depended on them to resolve long overdue crisis, but to assure the every day folks that they are [selfless] with no personal interest to write laws that influence their daily lives for the better of our communities.

It sadness me to discover that some Congressmen and Congresswomen forgot to be selfless, and to think of the people who struggles finically every day. Meanwhile a play book for finical gain regarding a inside political trading scandals allegedly appears to have occurred play by play which appears to violate the STOCK Act during the pandemic while millions of families lost lost loves and even their finical stability.

To not use the [obligation] and privilege of a position and job duties to be the representative of a constituent, to work and serve the surrounding communities well, but rather to have the knowledge of inside trading, to use the information for personal use to whether or not the information was given to a relative or for self for finical gain is unethical. Especially if the same Congress member help write the law and penalties. Congress number one job should always be a selfless focus to make a good difference within our surrounding communities.

How dare the Congress who are selfish personalized the position and classified information for finical gain!!! While millions of families within the jungle of current crises trying to keep their head from going under the cracks of their crippling financial stability. How dare any Congress member forget the folks of their constituencies to self enrich themselves, and to have the [audacity] to point their finger at the next Congress members. The Congress members who aren’t selfless, and who are using the position, classified information for personal finical gain should be held accountable for their unethical actions. Also they should remember the struggles the every day folks endure, and better their lives; not self! No disrespect!

They should all be invested like a balanced diversified fund including stock market, reits, money market, corporate bonds, and treasuries. Set a very infrequent calendar period for trading stocks to avoid timing with inside information. Align interests with an avg. agent of the US economy. Holding crypto while in govt can raise questions about sabotaging US interests so shouldn't be allowed.
