Thank you, Mr Vance and Mr Walz, for this debate. Agreement or not, this was a civil and decent debate on policy.

Wow. There wasn't a single insult thrown at the other person on stage.

These dudes are more impressionable than our actual candidates. They can debate and even agree like civilized adults.

You can agree or disagree with any of their opinions, but the fact is that they demonstrated good conduct and we should see more of this type of discussion in politics.

It was wonderful to actually hear some policy proposals. That was a real debate.

I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My husband and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

Best VP debate ever. Made me actually want to listen to these debates and politicians again. Both hosts and candidates did a great job

As an independent and nonpartisan to any political party, I would say JD did really good.

At the 2hr 09 min mark, they are talking about opening federal lands to build is a reason why those federal lands are not being used.
In the 1866 Indian Treaty... 151 million acres were set aside for American Indian and native American tribes.
The reservations only account for 50 million acres. There is still 101 million acres that is promised to someone, if they can remember or figure out who they are.

I will post the statutes from the treaty and you tell me who supposed to get all that federal land.

- March 21, 1866, 14 Stat. 755: Article 2 of the Seminole Nation

- June 14, 1866, 14 Stat. 785: Article 2 of the Muscogee

- Treaty with the Cherokee, July 19, 1866, 14 Stat. 799: Article 9 of the Cherokee Nation’s

Vance frequently uses the words "common sense, " yet he doesn't have any himself.

Thank you, CSPAN, for providing this unaltered video of the debate. I was not able to watch the debate live, but truly desired to witness it.
I downloaded the CSPAN app tonight.

This debate was excellent by both of their parts.

Nothing to see here but a polite discussion between two midwesterners.

JD Vance came out intelligent and polished while Tim Waltz was speaking from his heart. This was a better debate than the presidential debate.

Question: Did Trump make a mistake by backing out of the Iran deal?
Vance: Trump is an awesome peacemaker
Me: That doesn’t really answer the question.

Within my first five minutes of watching this came across as more presidential than any other debate in recent memory.
