Vegas Pro 19 - Move Markers with Video Clips - Auto Ripple - Video Editing

Thanks for posting this. It was helpful, but I would point out that you have to use the dropdown adjacent to Auto Ripple and select "Affected tracks, bus tracks, markers, and regions" or it won't take the markers along when it moves. It doesn't default to this.

thanks so much for this i generally make guides and i have to mark all the noteworthy locations in my footage before i start with script and editing so this helped a lot as eventually i start splicing the footage together at the beginning of the timeline

So many things VEGAs should just do by default but doesn't. You also need to set Auto-Ripple to 'Affected Tracks, Bus Tracks, Markers and Regions' or 'All Tracks, Markers and Regions'.
