I suspect Apple's glass is top grade.

Never try a glass only repair, sure the part may be $10 but it'll be impossible to put on without the proper equipment. A heat gun won't cut it

I repaired my Granddaughter’s iPhone 6s (screen) 6 months ago - the latest software update appears to have stopped the back camera working.The local apple store confirmed that this is Apple policy for non Apple screen replacement. Does anyone else have this problem?
